YONKERS, N.Y. -- More than 100 volunteers helped clean up the ANDRUS campus in Yonkers last weekend.
Families and students, as well as community and corporate groups planted flowers, mulched, painted sheds and railings at the school, raked and cleaned up garbage and branches – all to help ensure the campus is a safe and beautiful place for the 155 children that spend each day on the grounds.
After a day of hard work, volunteers were rewarded with a BBQ lunch.
