Westchester golfers are going to need to hit the links in the coming weeks as the county prepares to shut down courses for the season.
Westchester County officials announced that all county-owned courses will close for the season after play on Sunday, Dec. 30. They will remain open through the month, weather and conditions permitted.
The courses set to be closed include Dunwoodie and Sprain Lake in Yonkers, Mohansic in Yorktown Heights, Saxon Woods in Scarsdale and the Hudson Hills in Ossining. Maple Moor will remain closed as a construction project continues.
Officials said that the courses are expected to reopen in March, though no official date has been announced.
