White Plains Students Win First Place At Business Skills Competition

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A group of White Plains High School students took first place at the 2016 Business Skills Workshop, a competition held at Morgan Stanley in Purchase Oct. 28.

The contest featured a graduate business school case study on Uber, which the participants had to analyze.

Sponsored by the African American Men of Westchester, the winning team was comprised of Revital Aloni, Sydney Barest, Carolina Cardozo, Jacqueline Jaurez-Rojas, Spencer Lodes, Evelyn Lopez Rodriguez, Zyh’Ana Moody and Jordan Stengle.

Business Education teacher Anna Burns served as advisor to the group.

The students and their parents will be honored at a dinner reception, where they will receive Acer tablets, gold medals and a trophy to be displayed at the high school.
