Investigators with the Suffolk County Police Department released surveillance footage of a man caught on camera breaking into Ting Restaurant at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16.

In the video, the masked man can be seen throwing a rock at the restaurant’s door and repeatedly peeking inside before forcing his way in. Minutes later, he can be seen working his way out of the door and running off on foot.

Police said that he stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the restaurant.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect, or who has information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” with the message to 274637.
