MTA Officer Pleads Guilty To Hitting Person With Baton In White Plains

A 39-year-old Metropolitan Transportation Authority police officer was sentenced after pleading guilty to third-degree assault.

Allan Fong was given a one-year conditional discharge and 50 hours of community service after pleading guilty to assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. 

Last October at the White Plains Train Station, Fong, while on duty, intentionally hit someone in the back of the head with an asp baton, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.

Fong's actions caused the victim to suffer pain to the back of the head and a laceration which required two staples to the back of his head, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Berit Huseby of the Investigations Division.
