WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Raymond Carpenito of White Plains died Sept. 8 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was 54.
He was born July 7, 1958, in White Plains to Dominic and Angelina Magnotta Carpenito. He worked as road supervisor for the White Plains Bus Co.
Carpenito is survived by his wife, Janie Steigler Critelli-Carpenito, of White Plains; a daughter, Patricia Carpenito; two grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Francesca and Gabriella Critelli; three brothers, Alfonso "Fuzzy" (Maria) Carpenito, James (Lucy) Carpenito and John Carpenito; three sisters, Antoinette Moriarty, Frances Maccabee and Carol Shallo; a sister-in-law, Linda Carpenito; a brother-in-law, Nicholas Ciaramella and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Felix "Sonny" Carpenito and Dominic "Butch" Carpenito Jr.; a sister, Linda Ciaramella; and a sister-in-law, JoAnne Carpenito.
Visiting hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Greenburgh.
