MONTVALE, N.J. -- Allen Shapiro, of Montvale, died Nov. 30. He was 67.
He was born Jan. 29, 1949.
His loyalty, generosity, strong work ethic, compassion and empathy and love for animals always were evident. His career spanned more than 35 years in the dental industry, a majority of those as a sales representative for Patterson Dental and Henry Schein Inc. which was preceded by four years in the U.S. Navy on both the USS Wasp and USS Roosevelt.
He is survived by his wife, Jody Greenberg Shapiro; and siblings, Barbara Shapiro and Philip (Brenda) Shapiro.
He was predeceased by his brother, Sidney "Butch" Shapiro.
