WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.. – A dump truck scraped the underpass of the Galleria in White Plains on Tuesday morning, forcing the closure of several lanes, according to lohud.com.

The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. as the truck was moving north on Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard, lohud.com said.

Police closed lanes as a precaution against falling debris and to allow crews to repair the damage, reported lohud.com.

The lanes were still closed as of early afternoon, lohud.com noted.
