According to a lohud report, organizers of a potential gun show have begun evaluating possible dates to host another show next year at the Westchester County Center, though there has been no agreements or commitments made.

Possible dates reportedly include Jan. 20 and 21 in White Plains.

Last year, the firearms and knife show returned to the County Center following a seven-year hiatus. It was met with much consternation and vitriol as more than 6,000 people signed a petition admonishing local officials that approved a veto from Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino that lifted the ban on gun shows on county property.

As many as 7,000 people were estimated to have gone to last year’s gun show.
