“Berkeley College is proud to be part of this event, which gives back to our student veterans and the families of fallen service members,” Richard E. Robitaille, Berkeley College assistant vice president, Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, said in a statement. “These families have been through so much and have a long journey ahead of them. Seeing these children smile makes it worthwhile.”
Jason Araghi, event coordinator for Snowball Express, said events like this provide children of fallen soldiers the chance to create new memories as well as provide others the chance to recognize and appreciate the sacrifice made by their loved ones.
