WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - John J. McDonnell, 91, of White Plains, died March 22.
Born in Ireland to John J. and Catherine McDonnell, he was a life member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union in White Plains. McDonnell also was a life member of the Ancient Order of the Hiberians.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa McDonnell; his daughters, Mary McDonnell Barber, Margaret Young, Eileen Preiato, Marian Farucci, Frances Pinkham, Noreen Scuiletti and Patricia Trapasso; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Mary McDonnell; his daughter, Kathleen McDonnell; and his son, John F. McDonnell.
Visitation was Sunday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home. There was a funeral Mass Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church in White Plains followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
