Jaeger, of White Plains, Remembered Wednesday

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Marion Y. Jaeger, of White Plains, died Nov. 27 at the age of 90.

Born in New York City on Aug. 29, 1921, she was the daughter of Margaret and William Young. She was married to the late Henry E. Jaeger, Jr. for 61 years before his death in March of 2005.

Formerly of Riverdale, Jaeger was a 50-year member of Westchester Country Club.  She enjoyed playing golf, bowing and bridge and making crafts. Jaeger was also a faithful parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains. 

Surviving are her son Henry Edward (Lorrie) Jaeger III of Waynesville, N.C., her daughters Cathleen (Scott) Brown of Tarrytown and Patricia (William) Reina of Cincinatti, Ohio, her brother William A. Young of Tarrytown, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jaeger was predeceased by her daughter Maureen Traugott.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. The funeral mass will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday at Out Lady Of Sorrows Church, followed by interment at Kensico Cemetery.
