The 6-hour event opens at 11 a.m. Among the talks on the agenda are “How to Run a Campaign & Win! Getting Strong Women Candidates Elected” at 2 p.m., “Women’s Rights in the Balance: What’s at State in the 2016 Election” at 3:15 p.m. and “Let’s Talk: Feminism, Race, Gender & Identity” at 4 p.m.
Several elected officials are expected to speak, including state Sen. Ruth Hassell-Thompson, state Assemblywoman Sandy Galef, state Assemblywoman Amy Paulin and Westchester County Legislator Catherine Borgia.
Attendees are urged to register before the event. Admission ranges from a $15, sliding student rate to $50 for “supporters.” Register here.
