Police Ask Public's Help In Investigation Of Orange County Hit-Run

State Police are currently investigating a hit-and-run crash in Orange County that involved a vehicle and pedestrian, and they’re asking for the public’s help.

The crash occurred on Monahan Road in the Town of Greenville on Tuesday, Jan. 8 between 6:35 a.m. and 7 a.m.

At this time, 62-year-old Robert Ruscher of Greenville had left his Rutger Creek Road home and was taking a morning run in the area. His last memory involves spotting a vehicle around the 100 block of Monahan Road. Ruscher suffered from a broken right ankle as well as a head injury and multiple abrasions.
