A registered 21-year-old sex offender who was convicted of having sex with a teenage girl has reported a move in Orange County.
The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange County residents regarding the residency of Antonio Beam, who has moved from Huguenot to a residence on McAllister Street in Port Jervis.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Beam as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Beam had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl in February 2016. He was convicted of sexual misconduct in July that year and sentenced to six years probation. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Port Jervis City Police Department.
