A former Target employee is facing charges after allegedly stealing merchandise from the company’s distribution center in the region.

Saratoga County resident Latrell Pinellas, age 35, of Moreau, was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 21, following an investigation by State police.

Troopers were first called at around 6:45 p.m. that day with reports that numerous items had been stolen from the Target warehouse in Wilton, located near I-87 and Ballard Road.

The merchandise was reportedly worth over $1,400.

Investigators named Pinellas, a former employee at the warehouse, as their suspect and arrested him a short time later for felony grand larceny.

He was issued an appearance ticket to the Wilton Town Court on Tuesday, Oct. 11 and was later released.
