Man Busted On Weapons Charges After Banging On Door At Milford Inn, Police Say A 30-year-old man was busted on weapons charges after police allegedly found him banging on a Connecticut motel room door, police said.  Raquan Brown, of the Bronx, was arrested Saturday, April 13, in New Haven County in Milford when the Milford Police Department received a complaint from the Milford Inn regarding a man with a firearm. Hyde Park Porch Collapse: Person Rescued After Being Trapped A porch collapse at a Hudson Valley home left one person injured. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 2 p.m., Monday, April 15, at 5 Boxwood Court in Hyde Park. According to Mitchell Shron, spokesman for the Roosevelt Fire District, responding firefighters and EMS found a porch from an upper story had collapsed with one person trapped in the wreckage. The victim suffered injuries to the lower leg and was bleeding, Shron said. According to Connecticut State Police, New York City resident Randy Casado, age 28, of Brooklyn, was walking in the HOV travel lane when he was struck by a 2007 Toyota Prius traveling west in the same lane. Large Chester Fire Destroys Several Townhomes, Residents Homeless Several residents were left homeless after a fire ripped through a popular Hudson Valley townhouse complex. The incident occurred in Orange County shortly after 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, in Chester at the Whispering Hills Complex. Chester Fire Chief Tom Marchiano told Mark Lieb of Rockland Video Productions that when firefighters arrived, they found flames shooting through the roof of one of the buildings in the center of the complex.
