SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. --The Sleepy Hollow High School Jazz Band received a perfect score, "Gold with Distinction," recently at the NYSSMA Major Ensemble festival held at Fox Lane High School.
This was the first time the Sleepy Hollow Jazz band has performed at the NYSSMA Majors.
The Gold With Distinction performers were the following:
- Alto Sax: Sophia Norwood, Amanda Hynes, Rebecca DiBlasi
- Tenor Sax: Sere Politano, Justin Atkinson
- Baritone Sax: Alexis Javier
- Trombone: Molly Povman, Griffin Gebler, Isabel Simon, Gabe Sherry, James Carney
- Trumpet: David Friedman, Max Cover, Henry Titcomb, Cameron Allan
- Flute: Viktoriya Molchanova
- Keyboard: Daniel Mares, Katie Miles
- Drums: Leah Scarpati, Chris Cerbone
- Guitar: Zachary Krall, John Welch
- Bass: Patrick Leavy
- Vibes: Casey Hanlon
