More than 200 Woodlands Middle School students signed up to participate in their Educational Technology classes, and students at RJ Bailey and Highview elementary schools also participated. Students used blocks of code to move characters in a variety of games through mazes and win contests.
Teachers and library media specialists in the district said students were enthralled by the Hour of Code. Students received Hour of Code certificates when they completed the class.
