The crash took place around 9:06 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, just north of the Illington Road Bridge, said Trooper AJ Hicks.

A woman driving a 2008 Mercedes sedan at a high rate of speed around a curve when she allegedly lost control, overcorrected and hit a 2015 Honda SUV. The Mercedes then hit the median and rolled over, ejecting one of two passengers, Hicks said.

The person ejected, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was injured, but not seriously, Hicks said.

The driver and other passenger received minor injuries. All three were transported to Westchester Medical Center.

No one was injured in the Honda, he added.

Several tickets were written to the driver of the Mercedes.

The crash blocked traffic on the parkway for at least two hours.
