TARRYTOWN, N.Y. Tarrytown police are investigating a burglary that took place early Thursday morning in a Martling Avenue condo.
A man told police he was just getting into bed in his second-floor bedroom around 3:30 a.m. when he heard his front door open and someone rustling around in the foyer, Lieutenant William Herguth said. The man went downstairs to find the door open and no one in the house, Herguth said.
A woman who was also staying in the house reported seeing a dark figure move across the lawn and away from the house, Herguth said.
A Metro North police K-9 unit responded to the police department's request, but no suspect has been found.
Herguth said nothing had been taken from the house and police are still investigating.
