Shots Fired Into Parked Vehicles On Long Island

Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating shots that were shot into a pair of vehicles in Huntington Station on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Police said that two vehicles parked in a driveway on East 2nd Street between Fairground Avenue and Lenox Road were struck with bullets at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. The vehicles were unoccupied at the time of the shooting and no injuries were reported.

The investigation included detectives, K-9 units and Emergency Service Unit officers.

Detectives from the Suffolk County Police Second Squad are attempting to locate the suspect who fired the bullets. Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
