TARRYTOWN, N.Y. A River Plaza resident called Tarrytown police after her neighbor would not complete her son's homework as they had previously agreed.
The woman told police that she had agreed to pay her neighbor $35 to complete an entire folder of homework, but only half of the work was completed when she picked it up on April 27.
The neighbor told police she had agreed to complete five pages of homework, but refused to turn it over when the woman refused to pay her.
Police also reported the following items:
Chained Puppy: A caller reported to police that a woman was dragging a puppy by a chain on Wildey Street around 1:30 p.m. on April 30.
Drunk Train Passengers: Police escorted nine intoxicated men off a train around 8:30 p.m. on April 28 and turned them over to the Metropolitan Transit Authority Police.
Child Struck By Car: Police received numerous reports that a child was struck by a car at the intersection of Route 9 and Wildey Street around 1 p.m. on April 28. The child was conscious and alert when EMTs arrived.
Fire: Firefighters extinguished a garbage pail fire on Tarryhill Road around 1:30 a.m. on April 26.
DWI Arrest: Chris A. Manolatos, 24, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after police stopped his car at the Shell Gas Station around 1 a.m. on April 26.
