SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. Four students from Sleepy Hollow High School have been honored for their musical talent this fall and chosen to be a part of the Area All-State Music Festival.
Lily Sands will perform with Band. Annie Warren will perform with the Women's Chorus. Robert Dondiego and Andrew Eagan will both perform for Mixed Chorus.
We're very pleased and proud of our students, Gail Persad said. Persaid is the music department chair for Sleepy Hollow High School and Middle School.
Persad said it was an honor that the four students will be representing the school at all-state.
The musicians will perform at the SUNY Purchase Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m.
The students earned their spots at all-state after preparing a solo an receiving high scores and recommendations from their teachers as part of the New York State School Music Association's guidelines.
Sands, Warren, Dondiego and Eagan will be performing with about 900 other students, according to the New York State School Music Association.
