Irvington High School’s Société Honoraire de Français is a nationally recognized French Honor Society sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French.
To be named to the Société Honoraire de Français, students must have maintained an A average in French for the semester of selection, as well as a cumulative A average for all French courses taken. In addition, students must have earned an overall B average for all other subjects during that semester, and a minimum grade-point average of B- for all subjects from grade seven to the present.
“I believe that perseverance brings success,” said French teacher Patrizia Barbagallo. “I am so impressed with my students and how their dedication has led to their outstanding performance.”
