Hot, Humid Day Will See Temps Soar Into 90s In Putnam

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – The National Weather Service is forecasting heat and humidity to once again sock Putnam Monday.

Temps are expected to approach 91 degrees during the day, while this evening may not see a dip below 70.

There is a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening.

The pattern of heat is expected to last all week, with showers and thunderstorms entering the county on Thursday pushing the temps to highs of 85. Storms will be in the area through at least Saturday night.
