Seeley will be developing and implementing the overall grant making strategy, goals and activities in the areas of community development, environment, health and technical assistance.

She served on the grants team at Central Indiana Community Foundation from 2004 through 2013. Seeley's most recent position was with Plan 2020, the bicentennial planning process for Indianapolis. She worked with community leaders to identify workforce and economic development strategies and actions to strengthen workforce and economic development as Indianapolis continues to respond to the loss of manufacturing jobs and to the rapid growth of technology related enterprises.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Westchester Community Foundation, an organization committed to improving all sectors of Westchester County,” said Seeley. “The Foundation and its donors are advancing important work to expand opportunity and enhance community strengths. I look forward to working with nonprofit leaders and my funding colleagues in this dynamic county.”

Her volunteer leadership has included affordable housing advocacy, board chairmanship for Montgomery Housing Partnership, Montgomery County in Maryland, and board chairmanship for Indianapolis’ non-profit land bank, Renew Indianapolis. Seeley resides in Yonkers.

Seeley earned her bachelor's degree from The University of the South, in Sewanee, Tenn., and law and divinity degrees from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
