Paws Crossed's New Best Friend Is A 'Diamond' In The Ruff

ELMSFORD, N.Y. – What’s better than a “Diamond” for Valentine’s Day, say the folks at Paws Crossed Animal Rescue in Elmsford where one such gem is looking for a forever home.

"Diamond" has a sparkling personality and would be a gem of a pet in any home, say the folks at Paws Crossed Animal Rescue, a shelter in Elmsford.

The 6-year-old Shar Pei mix embodies the “four C’s” everyone looks for in a diamond. No, not as in carat, cut, clarity, and color, but in cuteness, cuddliness, charisma, and charm, they say.

“Diamond is an absolute sweetheart” said Jennifer Angelucci, Paws Crossed’s president and CEO.

The pooch had been living at the Hi Tor Animal Care Center in Pomona for two years before she came to Paws Crossed

“This Diamond shines with everyone … people, older kids, cats, and other dogs,” Angelucci said.
