South Bedford Road (Route 172) in Mount Kisco was closed to traffic on Tuesday, May 16 because of low-hanging power lines caused by the fallen pole, Westchester County Police announced around 4 p.m.

The pole fell in the area of the Northern Westchester Professional Park located at 103-105 South Bedford Road.

Detours have been put into place for commuters. Police added that traffic delays are also occurring on Route 117 both north and south of Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
