SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Two interactive performances at Philipsburg Manor and Tarrytown Music Hall will kick off summer fun starting Saturday, June 28.
Fire jugglers will light up Philipsburg Manor during "A Night on Fire," Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29. “A Night on Fire” features stunts and family friendly humor from the juggling/comedy troupe A Different Spin. The one-hour performance will feature a live display of fire arts featuring four flame-wielding, fire-eating performers juggling, dancing, spinning and sword fighting. Performances begin at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 7:30 on Sunday.
The Pirates of the Hudson festival will begin on Saturday, July 5, at the Tarrytown Music Hall and will feature the Off-Broadway show, “The Greatest Story Never Told,” a swashbuckling pirate musical that the audience will help write and perform.
Performances begin at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets include admission to Philipsburg Manor where pirates will be holding down the fort from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors will receive free bandanas, pirate tattoos and can take part in a treasure hunt.
The nonprofit organization Historic Hudson Valley is producing both events.
Pirates of the Hudson tickets are $24 for adults and $18 for children 17 and under. Members of Historic Hudson Valley receive a $5 per ticket discount. Tickets for “A Night on Fire” are $22 for adults and $16 for children 17 and under. Members of Historic Hudson Valley receive a $5 per ticket discount. Tickets are available in advance online here.
