Locals, regional and NYC tourists, many arriving by boat, filled the village streets where plenty of vendors, a ragamuffin parade, food and entertainment were featured.

The boat rides from Manhattan will continue Saturday, when Tarrytown will hold its Halloween parade. Visitors can stop by the Sleepy Village Cemetery to see where its famous residents reside and the Old Dutch Church to hear a storyteller read from "The Legend of Sleepy Hallow," among activities.
