The two were cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to an undercover State Police operative under the age of 21 on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

Arrested and charged with unlawful dealing with a child in the first degree and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage were:

  • Anil Patwa, 66, of Albertson, a clerk at Fortune Smoke Shop, Old Country Road in Westbury.
  • Katty Garibaldi-Espana, 52, of Levittown, a clerk at AAC Convenience Store, Jericho Turnpike in Mineola.

The following establishments were also checked and found to be in compliance:

  • Mobil Gas Station on Old Country Road, Westbury.
  • BP Gas Station on Old Country Road, Westbury.
  • 7-Eleven on Old Country Road, Westbury.
  • 7-Eleven on Old Country Road, Carle Place.
  • Kings Jericho Mobil, Jericho Turnpike, Old Westbury
  • 7-Eleven on East Jericho Turnpike, Mineola.
  • Jericho Liquors on East Jericho Turnpike, Mineola.
  • Stop 24 Grocery on East Jericho Turnpike, Mineola.
  • Ultra Gas Station on East Jericho Turnpike, Mineola.
  • Aura Vape and Smoke/Conoco Gas on East Jericho Turnpike, Mineola
