Trio Fires Shots At Man, Woman On Long Island, Police Say

Police are searching for three suspects who fired shots at a man and a woman on Long Island.

The incident happened at 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, in Uniondale, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Police said a 24-year-old man was sitting in a parked 2009 BMW, and a 24-year-old woman was standing outside of the driver's side door when a black 2021 Jaguar drove north on Northgate Drive, and three suspects fired shots toward the victims.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Police said the BMW, parked vehicles, and two homes were struck during the incident.

The three individuals, who police described as Black males with no age or clothing descriptions provided, fled the scene, traveling north, NCPD said.

Detectives asked anyone with information about the incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
