A 45-year-old driver and his two female passengers were driving on Sprague Avenue at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, in West Hempstead, when a tan Ford Escape cut them off, forcing the vehicle to stop.

Nassau County Police said that two men, both armed with a black and a silver handgun, exited the Ford and approached the victims’ vehicle. At that point, the driver attempted to escape by putting the car in reverse, backing into a fence. At that point, all three left the vehicle and fled the scene.

According to police, the three later returned to their vehicle and found that multiple electronic devices had been taken. No injuries were reported.

The first suspect was described as a 6-foot-1 Hispanic man, clean shaven, who was wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black jeans and a black beanie. The second suspect was described as a 5-foot-10 Hispanic man weighing approximately 160 pounds with a mustache, black jacket, blue jeans, black shoes, a black beanie and ski mask around his chin.
