Suspects On Loose After 16-Year-Old Stabbed In Huntington Station

Suffolk County Police detectives are on the lookout for three men who allegedly were involved in the stabbing of a teenager late Sunday, Apirl 21 in Huntington Station.

A 16-year-old male was walking on Depot Road at 1st Avenue when he was reportedly confronted by three males on bicycles at approximately 10:40 p.m., Suffolk County Police said.

According to police, the teen ran south on 1st Avenue and became involved in a physical altercation with the three males in front of 31 1st Ave.  Police say during the alleged altercation the 16-year-old was stabbed in the right buttocks area.

The men then reportedly fled in an unknown direction, said police.

They were described as Hispanic and approximately 17 years old, according to police. One suspect was wearing a dark colored hat. 

The victim, of Huntington Station, was brought to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
