A suspect is on the loose after a sex abuse incident on Long Island.

It happened around 10:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 in Levittown, Nassau County Police said.

According to Special Victim’s Squad detectives, an unknown man approached a 43-year-old woman as she entered into her Tallow Lane residence grabbing her inappropriately, according to police.

The victim screamed, causing the man to run away and leave in a dark-colored Chrysler 300 he had left running a short distance away, said police. There were no injuries reported.

The man is described as being white, possibly Hispanic, 5-foot-11, with a thin build, 20 to 25 years of age, wearing a white T-shirt, and dark-colored jeans.

Detectives request that if anyone has knowledge of the above crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1–800 –244 -TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
