Suspect On Loose After Long Island Armed Gas Station Robbery

A suspect is on the loose after an armed robbery at a Long Island gas station.

According to Nassau County Police detectives, a black male suspect dressed in all black, entered a Valero Gas Station located at 404 Clinton Street in Hempstead just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2. 

The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, facemask and sneakers, police said. Once inside, he pointed a black handgun at a male employee, 26, and demanded the victim to give him cash from the register. 

 After the victim complied, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of currency and fled in an unknown direction on foot, police said. No injuries were reported.
