A suspect is at large after an overnight homicide on Long Island.
It happened on Monday, Nov. 25 at 2:25 a.m. in Hempstead.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, officers responded to a Shot Spotter Activation in the vicinity of 66 Burnett Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old male victim lying on the ground. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff. The investigation is ongoing.
