Seen Her Or This Car? Missing Long Island Woman May Be Driving Red Corvette, Police Say

Police on Long Island are asking the public for help locating a missing woman who may be driving a vintage red Corvette.

Gypsy Shaw, age 38, was last seen in Oceanside around 7 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, and reported missing to the Nassau County police at 9:50 p.m.

According to detectives, Shaw, a resident of Oceanside, was last seen on Murdock Avenue.

She is described as being 5-foot-4, 200 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde and pink hair. 

Her clothing description and destination are unknown, police said. 

She may be driving a 1993 red Corvette, with New York registration KATHARV.

Detectives request anyone with information contact the Nassau County Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
