Police Searching For Three Suspects In Long Island Deli Burglary

Police are investigating a burglary of a Long Island deli in which three suspects allegedly broke into the restaurant.

The incident took place around 1:45 p.m., Thursday, Jan. Jan. 21, in Valley Stream, said the Nassau County Police.

According to detectives, an employee of a deli, located at 40 Roosevelt Ave., discovered the front door lock had been cut. The employee notified the police. 

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the cash register, a small safe, and an ATM machine were taken. All three contained an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Video surveillance shows three men using a red power saw to cut the lock and enter the deli. All three subjects fled with the proceeds in a white 4 door sedan eastbound on Roosevelt Avenue.

The suspects are described as being:

  • Suspect 1: A man of unknown race, wearing grey camouflage pants, black hooded sweatshirt, and black boots. He was wearing a mask over his face and gloves.
  • Subject 2: A man of unknown race, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the E.T. logo on the back, a blue neck pillow, and black sneakers. He was wearing a mask over his face, a blue hat, and gloves.
  • Subject 3: A man of unknown race, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black sneakers. He was wearing a mask over his face and gloves.
