An Uber driver was allegedly attacked by two passengers on Union Boulevard on May 11 at approximately 1:35 a.m., said Suffolk County Police.

After the attack, the victim reportedly stood on the eastbound lane of Union Boulevard, approximately 25 feet east of Montgomery Avenue, when he was hit by a white SUV or van that fled the scene, according to police.

The victim, a 26-year-old Brightwaters man, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of a broken pelvis, injuries to his right leg and a broken scapula, police said.

The men that allegedly attacked the driver were arrested for the assault, according to police.
