Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or people wanted in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting that happened on Long Island this week.
The shooting death of 27-year-old Justin Gottlieb took place around 5 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, as he drove home from work to his home in Plainview, said Nassau County Police.
According to police, Gottlieb left his place of employment in Jericho to drive home to his residence in Plainview.
He was driving a 2002 red Ford Explorer, with the New York tag EBJ2643. Gottlieb was followed to Margaret Drive East in Plainview by a light-colored four-door sedan, possibly white in color, police said.
He was shot and killed by an occupant of that vehicle around 5:30 p.m., police said.

Up to a $5,000 reward is being offered. All callers can remain anonymous.
