Photo Released Of Car Linked To Long Island Hit-Run Crash That Injured Woman

Police have released a photo of a vehicle of interest after a woman walking to her car was struck in a hit-and-run crash on Long Island.

The photo was released on Saturday, Nov. 2 after the crash happened on Friday, Oct. 18 just before 8 p.m. in Inwood.

According to Nassau County Police detectives, while walking northbound to her car in front of 148 Doughty Boulevard, the 42-year-old female was struck by a northbound vehicle that left the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries to her lower extremities.

Detectives are looking for a gray Acura TL with dark tinted windows and chrome rims. The vehicle should be missing its passenger-side mirror.
