A person was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a busy Long Island roadway.
The incident took place around 5:50 p.m. around 20. Broadway, in Massapequa, said the Nassau County Police.
Police did not reveal if a man or woman was hit in front of the CVS located nearby or the extent of their injuries.
The incident is under investigation, police said.
