Police have launched an investigation as they attempt to locate two wanted suspects who robbed a Long Island homeowner at gunpoint in broad daylight, officials said.
Nassau County Police Department Robbery Squad Detectives said that two men entered a Sacco Place residence in North Bellmore at 6:54 p.m. on Monday, June 14, displaying a handgun.
Police said that the two men proceeded to steal an unknown amount of cash and jewelry before fleeing in a dark-colored SUV.
Investigators described the suspects as being 5-foot-11 with short black hair. At the time of the robbery, they were both wearing masks.
