Shots rang out in the middle of the night at a busy intersection on Long Island, police said.
Detectives from the Nassau County Police Department’s First Squad responded to Marian Court and Prospect Avenue shortly before 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 in East Meadow, where there were reports of gunshots.
Police said that the investigation determined that “multiple shots were fired,” though there was no damage or injuries reported.
The investigation into the shots is ongoing, police said. Anyone with information regarding the incident has been asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-244-TIPS or the first squad at (516) 573-6153.
