Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a man wanted for criminal possession of stolen property on Long Island.
Police said that Elijah Mohammed is wanted by the Nassau County Police Department and Nassau County Court after he was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property with a value of over $1,000. He later failed to show up for court proceedings and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Investigators described Mohammed as 5-foot-9, weighing approximately 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Investigators noted that anyone who recognizes Mohammed or who spots him should not attempt to apprehend or detain him.
