A potential serial flasher who allegedly masturbated in front of a teenager and two women is on the loose on Long Island.

The Nassau County Police Department issued an alert on Friday, Feb. 7 after three indecent exposure incidents were reported within a week.

Police said that at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, while walking home from Valley Stream High School on East Beverly Parkway, a 17-year-old was approached by an African American driving a black, four-door vehicle. The man got the girl’s attention by asking for directions, at which point he was observed fondling his exposed genitals.

The teen ran from the scene and contacted police.

Later that day, at approximately 5 p.m., a 56-year-old woman walking her dog on Brixton Road in Garden City South was approached by an African American man in a black, four-door Mercedes Benz. The man gained the woman’s attention and was again observed fondling himself.

The woman left the area and called 911.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, at approximately 4:15 p.m., a 47-year-old woman was approached on Grove Street in Valley Stream in a four-door, black vehicle. Police said that after gaining her attention, the woman saw a man display a black handgun at her while fondling his exposed genitals with his other hand.

The man continued to point the gun at the woman and demanded money. She ran off and was able to call the police. The suspect in each of the three cases was described as being between 20 and 30 years old with black hair.

Police have since released a photo of the vehicle suspected to be used by the suspect. According to the Nassau County Police Department, detectives believe the man involved in all three incidents is the same and has asked anyone with information regarding him or the incidents to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
