Long Island Woman Wanted For Driving While Ability Impaired By Drugs, Alcohol

An alert has been issued for a woman arrested for allegedly using drugs, drinking and driving who has been on the run from New York State Police investigators on Long Island for years.

Tara Bailous, 48, is wanted by New York State Police in East Meadow and the Nassau County Court for driving while ability impaired – combined alcohol/drugs dating back to her arrest on April 20, 2015.

A bench warrant was issued for Bailous on March 31, 2017, when she failed to pay her court fines.

Police described Baoilous as 5-foot-6 weighing approximately 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who has information regarding her whereabouts has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators in East Meadow by calling (631) 756-3300 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
