A 33-year-old Long Island woman has been arrested for alleged grand larceny of two Rolex watches from a local Macy's last year.

Candice McCullough, of Westbury, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 4, for the theft which took place around 6:25 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 16, in East Garden City.

According to detectives, McCullough entered the Macys located at 630 Old Country Road walked behind a display counter, removed a set of display cabinet keys belonging to the store, and then walked away.

Later that day around 6:10 p.m., McCullough returned and walked over to the Rolex watch display counter, using the same keys, opened the case, and removed two Rolex watches valued at more than $22,000, police said.

She then left the store passing all points of purchase and made no attempt to pay for the merchandise, police said.

McCullough was charged with grand larceny and will be arraigned on Friday, Feb. 5, in Mineola.
